From Narita Airport (NRT)


Recommended: Keisei Sky Access Line (Access Express)

  • Travel Time: Approximately 50–60 minutes

  • Transfers: None

  • Fare: Around ¥1,300

  • Arrival Station: Asakusa Station


The Access Express is the most convenient way to travel from Narita Airport to Asakusa.

With direct service to Asakusa Station, there is no need to transfer trains, making it a popular choice for travelers with large suitcases and luggage.



From Haneda Airport (HND)


Recommended: Keikyu Line + Toei Asakusa Line (Direct Service)

  • Travel Time: Approximately 45–60 minutes

  • Transfers: None (when using a direct train)

  • Fare: Around ¥650

  • Arrival Station: Asakusa Station


One of the easiest ways to reach Asakusa from Haneda Airport is by using the direct service between the Keikyu Line and the Toei Asakusa Line.

Some trains continue directly to Asakusa Station without requiring a transfer, making the journey convenient for visitors carrying luggage.


Tips

  • Choose trains displaying “Asakusa,” “Oshiage,” or “Narita Airport.”

  • Be careful not to board trains that terminate at Keikyu Kamata or other intermediate stations.


From Tokyo Station

Recommended: JR Yamanote Line + Tokyo Metro Ginza Line

  • Travel Time: Approximately 15–20 minutes

  • Transfers: 1 (at Kanda Station)

  • Fare: Around ¥350

  • Arrival Station: Asakusa Station


This is one of the simplest routes for visitors traveling from Tokyo Station to Asakusa.

Route

  1. Tokyo Station → Kanda Station (JR Yamanote Line, approximately 2 minutes)

  2. Kanda Station → Asakusa Station (Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, approximately 14 minutes)

The Ginza Line provides direct access to Asakusa Station and is widely used by tourists visiting the area.
